@rebafan19 No, I meant it only in the generic sense. Many young Marines and sailors passed through Memphis during those years being trained in various MOS’s. I was only 17 when I arrived there fresh out of high school and fresh from Parris Island. We missed our homes and we missed our girls. And we would go into Memphis on a Friday or Saturday night looking for soemone like Pam to notice us. I’m sure this song hit a chord with many service men who passed through NAS Millington (Memphis).

The Grizzlies,Hornets, that team in OKC AND even the Trailblazers are YOUNG…The Mavs took advantage of their situation, so no hating on them here,,,San Antonio is beginning the REBUILDING phase thanks to the Grizz, LOL!

@jason101588 Yeah I understand the logic behind what you r saying but the brackets are already set so it doesn’t matter who comes out victorious in the brackets. It’s already set before the playoffs start. Take a look at the brackets on NBA.com or ESPN and it will show you. It makes it a lot less confusing.

@Segovia06 That I clearly understand. This is the first round of the playoffs you’re talking about. What I’m talking about is the Western Conference semi-finals. LA Lakers finished 2nd and they are facing Dallas, who finished 3rd in the season. And Oklahoma City finished 4th and will face Memphis, who finished 8th. Shouldn’t the strongest seed (Lakers) face the weakest seed (Memphis) while the 2nd best seed (Dallas) face the 2nd weakest seed (Oklahoma City)?
